Working with PDF files
PDF is the standard format for documents people share — contracts, invoices, forms, tickets and school work — because it looks the same on every device. The downside is that PDFs are hard to change. These tools cover the jobs people need most: turning pages into images, combining several files, pulling out specific pages, fixing sideways scans and making large files small enough to email.
Every tool works directly in your web browser. Your PDF is read and processed on your own computer or phone and is never uploaded to a server, which makes these tools a good choice for private documents like bank statements, IDs and contracts. There are no file limits, watermarks or sign-ups.
Quick tips
- Turning several photos of a document into one file? Use JPG to PDF, then Merge PDF if you have more files to add.
- Email bouncing because the attachment is too big? Compress PDF can shrink scanned documents by 50–90%.
- Only need to send one page? Split PDF lets you extract just that page.
