About the Photo & Signature Resizer tool

Exam registrations, job applications, bank and government forms often reject uploads that aren't exactly right: the image must be a certain number of pixels, and the file must be between a minimum and a maximum size, such as 20–50 KB. This tool does both in one step. It crops and resizes your image to the exact pixels, then finds the best JPG quality that lands inside the KB range. Your photo, signature and documents are processed on your device and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose?

Use the numbers in your form's instructions. The presets are sizes many forms use, for example a photo of 200 × 230 pixels between 20 and 50 KB and a signature of 140 × 60 pixels between 10 and 20 KB, but requirements differ, so always check yours.

My form says the file must be at least 10 KB. How does that work?

Small images, like signatures, are often smaller than a form's minimum. The tool first raises the quality, and if the file is still too small it adds invisible padding to reach the minimum. The picture itself doesn't change.

Does the form count 1 KB as 1,000 or 1,024 bytes?

It varies, so the tool is safe either way: the file stays under the maximum and above the minimum with both ways of counting.

Are my photo and signature uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your photo, signature and documents never leave your device.
